I think it's time for an upgrade because the TV is old(Panny) and we cannot hear dialogue from old sound bar. Plus, I hate the mount that was used by our installer. It angles the TV up on an already too high TV. Want to do TV, sound and new mount at the same time.
We really have no better option in that room that over the fireplace, so we can just shut down moving it now.
Anyway, this TV must be a 60" as it's 54" wide. The white woodwork you can barely see above the mantle is 56" which would put a 65" right at the same width. Seems there are way fewer 70" options and no Sony's which I am kinda leaning toward. 75" would be outside the white wood deal, but inside the mantle.
We use an AT&T box for that one so smart features are not super important, but would rather have Google than Alexa.
Here's the potato pic,

I am considering a mount like that.

Is there really a need for an articulating mount? When pulled out fully that mount has to be mounted sturdily. The more it's extended the more stress there is on the bolts. Why not a mount that simply can be angled down slightly?

This is the over the mantle mount I purchased and installed. Have had no issues with it.
