I’ve got a newer Samsung television. I’ve noticed recently that it’s not processing quick movements (football being thrown, baseball thrown, etc.), it becomes very blurry during that specific action. Other than the picture is good quality. I don’t remember this always being an issue. Could it possibly be a setting I changed?

A firmware update could have changed something. It's also possible that you're just now noticing something that's been happening.

I'm assuming you have a LCD, if not ignore the rest of this post.

You can go into the custom motion settings and increase the blur reduction and see if that helps any. Increasing the judder reduction will only make movies and other 24 fps content look like a soap opera.

Another thing you can do is turn down the sharpness a little. Sometimes the TV will try and clean up some digital noise and it can actually make blur seem a little more noticeable.

Motion blur is a bit of problem with all LCD TVs though. The liquid crystal is slow moving and makes the pixel response time slower than an OLED.
