You'll like it once you get everything up and running.

Mine came preinstalled with Phoenix and all of the other goodies. Rockcrusher is/was (seems to be offline now) great.

what is phoenix?

Also with mine, I got it installed and everything, but I still have to go into the settings to open it. I tried some directions online that showed how to get it on the home screen, but it didn't work.

You talking about KODI? Install Fire Starter. You can double click the home button and KODI will pop up

Are you the one that lives in Watson? If so I could do it for you. Just buy it and I'll put it all on there for you. I'm doing 4 firesticks tonight

You don't actually unzip the zip files.

thanks. I think i'm going to get Curly to help me out. He offered. I agree that i will need to inform myself on the updates and such though. This is evidently too difficult for me to correctly do as i tried for 5 hours yesterday evening and got nowhere.

What's the best addon for kids shows?
My kids love Thomas the train and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I've found a few in some addons, just wondering if there is one or two in particular I might not have checked.

Sports Devil is a fricking joke.

MJ2, here's what you absolutely NEED.

1. Phoenix. GOAT kodi app. The search function searches all of Phoenix's channels and it's all HD.

2. Genesis. Similar to Phoenix and has more TV shows.

3. TV Cast (F). iPhone app and Amazon app. This isn't Kodi related but you can stream anything from project free TV or any video link to your TV. I use the links from R/nbastreams and R/NFLstreams. I get EVERY GAME in HD and cast it to my projector. It's fricking amazing.

Buffers quite a bit. And today the Huddle Sports disappeared. I'm watching the Stars hockey game on sportsdevil right now with an HD feed and no buffering.

Genesis

Is dead....not being updated anymore. I use SALTS and 1channel with Axel downloader. Some people like Velocity.
