If you have an Android you can download Kodi then go to reddit r/addons4kodi and see what people are using for live sports these days. You could also pay for 1 month of IPTV (~$10) like cobrahost and download the player on your phone. If you have an iPhone I have nothing for you.
ETA, you said you have a Shield. You can download either of those things on the shield so you don't have to watch/cast from your phone and wouldn't be limited to just an Android phone.

Download Puffin browser, make sure you have adblocker, and go to sites like crackstreams/grandmastreams, etc.
