Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this HP refurb.

NewEgg link

- Intel Core i7 4th Gen 4770 (3.40 GHz)
- 16 GB
- 500 GB HDD
- Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

Has a ton of expansion slots so I could always upgrade it a bit. I have an SSD ready to add in.

Mostly plan on using this for software development and light gaming so I think it's a good little powered machine for that purpose.

What is everyone else's take on this little system?

Pretty bad deal for that old of hardware. Plus you wont be doing any gaming on that thing

See if your walmart has any of these in stock

You'll still need something better for graphics if you want to do anything more than very light gaming (older RTS and turn based games will be fine, but any newer games will run laggy and bad)

Really? Bad Deal. Ok. Yeah I haven't bought systems in a while. Normally get them through work but looking to buy a personal desktop for no more than $500.00

I just got an HP i5, 4gb ram, 250gb hdd off eBay for $64 (during eBay day). Check out discountcomputers on eBay. They are out of TX, and have decent prices+free shipping on used PC's that's are similar to what you are looking at.
