What does this message mean? It has been popping up on my phone lately a few seconds after I put it on the charger. It starts charging, then this message comes up and it stops charging. Its the right charger and I make sure that it’s plugged in well, but this always happens

Get a toothpick and gently as possible, use it to dig out accumulated crud in the spot on your phone you plug it in.
Also, using an Emory board, a light buffing of both sides of the part that plugs into your phone can reduce oxidation and create a better charging connection.
Failing the above, buy a new certified Apple charging cable.

It's been mostly a bad/failing cable for me, depends on how much shite you get inside your phone if you crude up that connection.
