It's the first time I've done it and it was much simpler than I had imagined. I started a thread on here that directed me to the xda forums. I read a step by step guide and watched a couple of YouTube videos specifically for my model phone. Definitely find a YouTube video. I was just as naive to it as you are and it didn't take long for me to get comfortable with it.
