Have you tried to adjust the retraction settings or print faster?

yup, i've ran a couple of calibration cubes, temp towers, stringing tests, etc. the stringing tests came out okay, but the details of it weren't the two poles didn't have a consistent diameter throughout.

6.5mm retraction - 10mm retraction
45mm/s retraction speed - 25mm/s retraction speed

i'm trying "combing" now to see if that helps in addition to "wipe nozzle" in the slicer settings.

I’m about to start a project that might interest people here. And maybe people can give some input. Been printing a lot of panels that are roughly 200mm wide x 450mm long. Since my bed is only 310mm x 310mm, I’ve been having to print them in halves and epoxy together, which isn’t ideal since they’re relatively thin panels.

So I ordered another heated bed, longer extruded aluminum extrusions/linear rails, and a few other parts. My plan is to have 2 heated beds lined up on the y axis (butted up to each other), with a single 300mm x 600mm glass plate on top to make one long 300mm x 600mm build surface. Since I’m staying with the same width, I just have to extend the frame in the Y direction, which seems like it would be simple with 2 longer aluminum extrusions for the frame. Then some firmware changes and I think I’m good to go.

Anyone see a reason this wouldn’t work?
