Switching back and forth between iphone and android...

Without getting into too much detail, I have a need to switch back and forth between iphone and android every 1-2 months. I need to bring over my text messages each time so that I have the most up to date messages on the current phone that I am using...Is there an easy way to do this? Any suggestions?

Easiest is probably to get a Google voice number and use that. You just install the app and sign in, and all your messages will be there regardless of phone.

Yea just use Google Hangouts or WhatsApp for messaging.
What would require you to switch so frequently? You a drug dealer?

I think I read somewhere that Hangouts was dropping SMS support soon.
