I need someone to help a pretty tech illiterate guy. I had a setup at my previous employer that had a docking station that I could plug in to the surface and it charged the surface as well as hooked up to dual monitors. I want the same setup in my home office - what am I looking for?

If your surface pro uses usb-c to handle the displays, just get a a docking station that plugs into the usb-c on the surface pro and then has hdmi out to your external monitors. It’s pretty simple.

I use one like this for my MacBook. Have to charge with regular charging cable but does everything else.

Most likely it was the Microsoft Pd9-00003 dock. No idea why the price is so high right now. They were $120 when they came out. Around $300 now..
