Smartthings and Google home

I already had a Google home and recently was given a smartthings hub. I primarily only have hue lights,a couple of motion sensors for hues, a few kasa switches and Google minis right now. I have half heartedly googled why I would use a smartthings with or instead of the Google home and keep getting results of how to set them up
So what can I do with both that I cant do with the Google home. I probably will eventually set it up when/if I get some non-hue bulbs but wondering if it will make thinngs easier or more "custom" if I do it sooner rather than later...
Any tips?

Google home doesn't have a z-wave or Zigbee radio, you can control those devices with Google Home via the smartthings hub.

Thanks
Now off to search what's useful in those devices lol

I have this setup and find smart switches with dumb bulbs to be the best combo, plus a few hue light strips.
Routines on the Google Home work well to turn on and off things at bedtime and in the morning.
I also have Ecobee thermostats tired into the setup so you could adjust temp by voice as well, though the GH may do this already anyway.
