Slow getting emails on an iPhone 8

I have gmail and yahoo email accounts and both have started taking, usually over an hour, to show up on my phone. This happens when I’m connected to WiFi and when I’m not. I tried calling at&t, but I might as well have called Taco Bell and told them about the problem. Anyone else experience this?

The iPhone mail app sucks balls. I had the same problem. Download the Spark email app and add your accounts to that. WAY better.

I deleted the email acct and now it won’t let me add it back. Been on the phone with at&t and apple for over an hour with no help

So you cant add email accounts back on iphone, but you can access email for both accounts from web browser?

Yes, after about an hour, apple told me that since it was a business gmail acct. it couldn’t be added back for security reasons.
