Sling TV - Anyone Try It??

With football season around the corner I am about to address my cable needs. I cut cable after football season each year. I dont have comcast which allows me to do this in my area as Charter Spectrum does not have contracts.
I got an advertisement in the mail Saturday for sling TV which for $20 a month allows a la carte TV which includes ESPN and apparently access to the ever important watchespn app. For $5 more I can 40 channels.
Is this viable? Anyone have this? My only hang up is that my entertainment streaming is done via PS4 which doesnt support sling as they compete agaist one another. But if you sign up now with Sling theyll include a roku stream stick free so that would alleviate that.

Had it for a little while and enojoyed. Used basically to watch sports and sometimes the streams were unreliable. Roku is nice though.

I've had it for a few years. It's good unless you require simultaneous streams. The one with the sports package only allows one.

Yes. Tried it. I have a roku 3 with hardwire connection which is certainly more reliable. I think there's better options out there than sling in terms of programming. You can do a free trial for yourself I believe if you really want to test drive it.

I had it for about a year, I liked it. Just get a roku 2 or 3 and you'll be set.
The only downside is games on CBS and FOX you'll need to find another way to stream but like others have said for $25 a month including the sports package it's hard to beat.

I've got it. Prefer it to the other services. They have a new interface on Amazon Fire that is nice.

It's all we use at my house for TV. We have the package that allows for up to 5 streams. We really enjoy it. It's only gotten better recently as they've added some of the major networks to the lineup.

Watching TV on it right now. I've had it for almost a year and it continually improves. Works well for my TV watching habits.
