Shortwave Radios Made in the USA

I'm considering buying a shortwave radio just for kicks but all I see on Amazon is a bunch of made in China crap. Does anyone here know of an American made brand that is reasonably affordable?
I will be a beginner user so I probably don't need anything too elaborate.

I believe the last shortwave radio made in America was the Zenith Transoceanic 7000 around the late 60s. For receiving only, I don’t believe there are any. For TX and RX I think FlexRadio is made in Texas, but most certainly from mostly non American components. $$$$ though.
The three big Amateur radio brands, iCOM, Yeasu, and Kenwood are all foreign.
