sd card not being read

My phone has been in the case the whole time, haven't had any big drops. And all of a sudden I go to look at my sd card its showing that there is nothing inserted. I tried a different SD card and my phone read it but it wont read the 1 I have been using the last 3 months or so.
Any solutions? It's a Samsung phone and 32 GB sd card
