Samsung TV locking up/unresponsive

I have a Samsung Smart TV (do not know the model number as I had to run out of the house this morning and didn't look) that has been freezing up and unresponsive to the remote and button on the bottom of the TV. At first, it was happening with the Roku and we just assumed the Roku was giving us issues. Last night it started giving us troubles with the apps. I went to turn it on this morning and had to unplug and plug back in for it to turn on.

Once I turned it on, it was on Live TV/antenna and froze for a minute. Then went black screen w/ volume, then came back to the picture, but the timing of sound/picture was way off.

I cannot find any trouble shooting issues for this, but do not have the model number for specific searches. Anyone experience something similar, can anyone point me in the right direction?
