Safari icon on iPad

I had this little monitor recently appear on the Safari icon on my iPad. I checked my iPhone and it does not have it. Anyone know what it means/does?

It's the continuity handoff icon.
It means you can start work on one device (like a desktop or laptop) and continue it on your iPad.
