Questions about running 2 monitors

Got a new gaming rig. First real computer I've bought. I am wanting to run two monitors. And, as it is, I can simply just plug and play and have them running. My video card accepts both at one time. It seems to act and operate as it was intended to have monitor A run whatever major program (game/video editing) and then monitor on right to run whatever else you wanna run (internet/email etc).
Question 1. Will that put any extra strain on cpu/gpu?
Question 2. If I'm playing WoW or a game of similar or more intense reqs.... will I need to do anything to optimize the set up? Or is it really as simple as plug and play and I'm good to go?
Question 3. Will this interfere with my asus gaming monitor and its gsync function?

Yes it will.

You should be fine, but it will have some effect on your framerates. Probably very small. Maybe not enough to matter.

I don't know the answer to that.
What CPU and Mobo do you have? I would think you could use the on-board graphics for your second monitor. This would leave the GPU to do it's thing. Will still tax the CPU a bit more though.

intel i7 7700k, 4.2 ghz, nvidia gtx 1050 4gb, 16gb ddr4 ram.
good to know about the card being extra taxed. essentially i suppose i wont' run it unless i really get a taste for it.

The 7700k has an iGPU built in. Maybe use that for the second screen. You would probably see better overall performance.
