How is it? Thinking about buying the new model coming out next week.

the r/vue subreddit has some good info on it. I haven't heard anything bad though really.

I've been using it since January.
I have 2 AppleTV units (Den and MBR)
The app is pretty stable. Tuning is quick and works well - and picture quality is generally very good.
DVR function is great although a little indiscriminate. Example - I recorded the LSU game - so it recorded the category of college football games. This is fine, but when trying to find the LSU game to watch it - I had to weed through every dang game and the guide doesn't always show "LSU", it usually has a game id number.
Occasionally it will have a glitch after it's been on a while - sometimes the guide will freeze or the stream will quit working. I experience this kind of issue maybe once a month.
I dropped U-Verse for PSVue and am very happy with the channel selection and quality.
I have the Elite package for $55. I also subscribe to HBO separately for I think $15 - The PSVue with HBO & Showtime is $20 more but you only get whatever is on the main HBO & Showtime channel. By doing it separately, I can on-demand view anything in the HBO listing.
Any other questions? I'll be happy to answer...

I have Vue on AppleTV in both my living room and my master bedroom. Outside of the stream pausing every once in a while (couple times a month), it works great. I love the simplicity of the Apple TV remote. There are only a 2 or 3 buttons and the touchpad.

Thanks for the feedback. I currently have Vue on Fire TV, but went ahead and ordered the new Apple TV this morning. I think I will use the Apple TV in my living room and the Fire TV in my bedroom.
