Plex DVR questions

I solved my problem of being unable to watch a live LSU game by turning off the 'remove commercials' option. apparently if you have that selected it hangs onto the video until its done recording and i guess does some post processing before delivering it to you. this explain why i couldn't 'cut in' on a game actively being recorded until it was done (including sports guard at the end).
so far so good. i can now walk in and start the LSU game at the beginning.
2 problems.
1. why does every LSU game get listed under 'history of NFL football'?
i renamed the game and stuck it in a college football category but sure enough, next week the same thing happens all over again. I would think the description CBS provided for the game (and which is in the frickING GUIDE PROVIDED BY PLEX) would properly categorize it later but nope, always in that weirdo category when i go to find the recording later on.
2. even though i was watching the recorded game on the 'dvr' on several TVs all the way through with zero issues at all, when i went in today to watch my recording, it was only 60 minutes long and the file details said it was 2.5GB (last week's MS state game by comparison was 29GB) WTF? it ends with 12:12 left in the first quarter.
WHERES MY frickING GAME RECORDING???
ok, carry on. just CAD venting again.
