Pixel phone that has dock that converts to chrome os

Why does this not exist?? Same with Mac and Iphone? Why is windows the only one trying this?

I believe he's talking about something like the old Motorola Atrix. Basically you could buy a dock for the phone and plug a mouse, keyboard & monitor to the dock. So the phone doubled as a PC. ASUS had something similar with tablet/phone combo. Ubuntu started working on a project like the Atrix, but I don't think it made it very phone.

I think he's referring to something like Samsung and their Dex pad. I have been wanting to try that out.

Sorry for the crypticness. Yes...Kind of like dex...But Android OS when operating phone...And chrome OS when plugged into a dock.

You would think that Google could use one of their pixel phones and make it into a Chromebox type of device

Not sure you would really even need the dock though. Why not just an HDMI dongle similar to a chromecast to plug into the display?

That is correct... Just meaning a dock could give us more connectivity.
