My 6th grader got busted sending some inappropriate texts to friends on his ipad. So, next time i checked it, he had started deleting texts.
Anybody have a recommendation for a good monitoring app that wont cost too much? TIA

How about just taking away the device. Or you can add his apple id to another device to get duplicate messages.

It Is taken away right now. But he will get it back eventually.
I’m looking to see if any parents on the board have any experience with any of the “spy” apps available. They do more than just monitor texts.

I dont have any advice here. But just want to throw in some support for you. I have two toddlers so not there yet.
But my neighbors have a young highschooler that they have some app synced to her phone. And she knows it. So maybe she knows a way around it (wouldnt surprise me) but at least they try.
People who are against keeping an eye on what kids are doing on electronic devices fall into one of three categories.
1) They dont have kids
2) They are older and their kids are adults now and those devices werent an option when they were kids
3) they are shitty parents.
Here is a quick google search that has a "Top 10"

GatorReb,
I appreciate the input. I have looked at those lists. I just thought there might be some insight from a user or two here.
Probably going with one I see on those lists
