Finally got around to renaming my switches, and noticed some of the lights associated disappeared even though they were still working with robots. Had to repair a couple of switches, but have one that won't repair. I think the switch itself disappeared, but is still ghosted in the system. Guess I'm calling support now too.

What type? Tapt? You need to hold both buttons down for 15 seconds (well after it went from solid light to blinking to off) and go through the app like normal to pair it and it should reconnect to it
Posted on 1/29/16 at 7:35 am to CAD703X
Yes, the other repaired just fine. Lights solid for 5 seconds, then a short flash and it paired. This light blinks for about 10 seconds which is different than the others. I assume it means something.
Eta: I'll try again tonight. I was doing it all in one step which worked for two of the switches.

Zwave devices I had to reset and process
- leviton dimmer switch:
1. push top of switch and pull up on bottom (makes bottom come completely out of wall) so it's reset
2. Hit exclusion mode on wink (so it will send unpair signal to switch) - success is a breuf green flash on wink
3. Hit inclusion mode and push switch (doesn't matter where) wait for green flash and its back
4. Find generic "light bulb" under lights and rename
- GE dimmer switch
1. Grab the tiny tab under switch button and pull (I used my fingernails) so it comes out about 1/8 inch for 5 seconds then push back in so it's reset
2. Hit exclusion mode on wink (so it will send unpair signal to switch) - success is a breuf green flash on wink
3. Hit inclusion mode and push switch TWICE (doesn't matter where) wait for green flash and its back
4. Find generic "light bulb" under lights and rename
- schlage lock
1. Open door extend deadbolt manually
2. Put wink into exclusion mode - should be near lock so you can observe it
3. Hit schlage button, enter 6 digit security code then 0 and you should get green checkmark on keypad and wink should flash green briefly.
4. Put wink in inclusion mode, repeat #3 above
5. Lock should appear in wink menu however DO NOT attempt to use it or rename it for a good 5 minutes while the lock "chats" with wink and attempts to sync all it's statuses.
6. Try hitting lock/unlock in wink. If nothing happens hit it again because wink isn't clear if it's unlocked or locked until you go through the cycle at least once.
7. User codes may come back but without the names so they're useless. Delete codes and enter them again.
Tapt instructions are still coming.

Wink is having major problems today. Hope it hasn't given Cad a heart attack.
Posted on 1/31/16 at 5:26 pm to mctiger1985
I saw the outage online and came here to see how pissed CAD would be

Posted on 1/31/16 at 9:44 pm to MrSmith

I missed the outage.. Was outside filling 27 bags with leaves and using a pole saw to cut some of the trees back leaning dangerously over my screen porch. Then I burned tons of brush and limbs for hours.
Ok tapt:
Do this:
Put wink near tapt.
Go to wink add tapt and stop in green connect now screen.
hold top and bottom buttons down together until they finish being solid, then flashing, then they turn off. THEN count to 15 while still holding then in.
Do the above a second time.
Then hit the green connect now button and watch the wink light.
Mine went for a long time flashing then turned RED... Then 2-5 seconds later blinked green twice.. Very briefly.
Hit cancel
Went to lights.. Nothing there, the offline light controlled by tapt had disappeared.
Went to switches and it was back online. Under tapt settings it said nothing connected so I changed it to basic light.
Went to lights and my porch lights were back, did not have to rename it or anything.
I'm good to go now.

Finally got my switch back active. Had to end up flipping the breaker to reset it. Was able to re pair after that. Flipping breakers also got my other switches that had went offline back.

Like Kit said yesterday, this update is getting pushed out on a rolling basis so everyone should receive the update by Mon/Tues! As far as local control goes, you will 100% know when it happens ;) and it won't happen until everyone has the opportunity to update, so hold your horses!

Cool! intermatic CA3750 contactor controller DISCONTINUED
buy it while you still can; they dont have a zwave replacement for less than $400 (an entire system..i dont need that..just need to turn the pool pump on/off on a schedule)
Spoke to intermatic on the phone and the guy admitted it was a great product but never generated many sales back in 2006. discontinued but now with vera, smarthings and wink, this is a really nice solution.
Private youtube video WINK - CA3750 pairing
i need this for my pool pump so it doesn't run 24hr/day in the $$$$ummer.
i am worried about the distance to wink hub, though.
eta might have to put a zwave lightbulb about halfway to the pool controller to function as a 'mesh jump'. not sure the pool pump is close enough to reach my wink without that.
eta just bought it

Behavior
The channel binds to the Plex notification websocket and upon receiving a playing notification will poll the status API and run it through the rules engine. If the criteria match your settings it will do one of the following:
Playing - Dim the lights, and then shut them off
Paused - Dim the lights
Stopped - turn the lights on at full brightness
Nothing detected - turn the lights on at full brightness

How much was the controller?... And thought you hated intermatic?

did i say that? probably pissed off because they didn't make an affordable wifi solution.
i paid right at $100 (including shipping) for this..check homeseer and smarthome-products.com
this has been discontinued since 2007 or so..so grab one now. there is no decent alernative that's designed to be weatherproof and handle 120/220/etc voltages.
see info below. I got zero hits at ebay, searchtempest (searched the ENTIRE USA) or amazon so i figured for $100 i'd try it out.

Features
- Multiple location ON/OFF control of contactor when used with wireless controls.
- Multi-Voltage power supply 120, 208, 240, or 277 VAC
- Field configurable outputs 2 independently controllable SPST contacts or simultaneous DPST
