My antenna gives me like 12, shite

I really wish that cutting the cord was an option but I just can't justify it currently. With a wife and a kid... just don't see it happening.
Need a service that provides:
1) Regular channels (ABC, CBS, Fox, etc.)
2) ESPN
3) DVR (pause, rewind, fast-forward)
4) Can be played on multiple TV's at once
Currently there just doesn't seem to be anything that can do all 4 of these without some sort of TV package.

2) ESPN
This keeps you out of all you want. Everything else can be done with some up front ($40-200 per 3rd party channel DVR box). ESPN is your holdup. If you want ESPN on a single TV and everything else on others, you can very easily do it with SlingTV, channel master (there are other brands) DVRs, and An antenna that you splice to your existing cable wires or a series of OTA antennas.

What can you do with Zeus Video?

Looking to cut the cord and need an HD antenna. I have one tv and its in the middle of the house not near any windows. Many of the antennas I have researched look like they need to be near a window. Any advice?

Roughly approximating: Externally mounted > attic >/= window > middle of house (as distance from windows and the roof increases). There wouldn't be a thing wrong with placing it in the middle of your house and seeing the kind of reception you get- it won't hurt a thing. If you aren't happy with it, buy yourself a long coax cable and move it closer to windows/roof and see if that helps. If it doesn't, run it up a 20-30ft pole as a last resort.
Also, I believe on here, and I forget who it is, recommends building your own at a fraction of what you'd pay for one elsewhere: [link]LINK ]

$3 matching transformer from Walmart, coat hanger, 2 screws, and a small piece of scrap wood. I'm gonna try this just for the hell of it to see how good it is.

I'm in the same boat...I watch a lot of ESPN....I read an article in January that they're planning on a stream service (no cable required) but have not seen anything since.
Anyone have any new news on that offering?

SlingTV is basically what you're describing + a handful of other channels for $25/mo. There isn't a standalone ESPN streaming service for purchase at present.

Sling TV almost gives me what I want but starts having audio sync issues after 30min which will be a deal breaker if not resolved.
I have an OTA on order to try that out.
That and having Netflix and Amazon Prime would have me set if I can get past the audio sync issues.

All of my research said that this antenna should get me the channels that I want, but WBRZ and WAFB, the two most important to me, go in and out.
Pretty disappointing. Looks like I may not be cutting the cord anytime soon.

i have found with kodi to add genesis, phoenix, and iptv. it is extremely bountiful with what it has. google for how to get it, you won't be sorry. sportsdevil as well, but it is techically offline but is online if you search for it. you will need abdfire (i think this has been referred to) to add a few apks. iptv has a guide too. very nice... stashe--haven't set up the dvr yet, but that is on the to do list.

Thanks, well it sounds like it might be about time to cut the cord for me

So I built the basic wire hanger antenna last night. I get more channels than the Mohu Leaf 50 listed. I'm in the Jackson area about 15-25 miles from the broadcast so that probably helps.
Less than $5 for crystal clear FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, and a bunch of others that I probably won't watch. I may watch some CW.
I highly recommend making one of these just for the fun of it. Especially before buying any of the expensive ($30+) antennas.
I got my matching transformer from Lowes because Walmart was out of stock. It was $2 at Walmart and $4 for an outdoor model at Lowes.

Just subbed to 3 months of SlingTV and got a free roku stick with the deal. Not half bad so far.

Well my Fire TV Stick bit the dust last night, it had been really wobbly internally where the micro USB end plugs in for power for a few months now, and it finally gave out last night, no power to it and tried other cables and moving it around.
Amazon already has a replacement on the way.

Somebody help me see the light here about cutting the cord....
I have DTV with 3 Genies with HBO & Showtime.
I pay $80 a month roughly.
How much more money am I really going to save if I have to have:
-Roku for 3 TV's
-Netflix
-HBOGO
-Showtime Stream
-HuluPlus
-HD Antenna (3)
I'm sure I left something off the list, but I guess I just don't see that much of a benefit
