Nvidia Shield users- Playing embedded video in browser

Is there a browser that will allow you to play embedded video and enlarge it to full screen? Pulling out the laptop and casting is a PITA, so I'm hoping to find a solution to open a website, play embedded video, and make it full screen. In the past, we would stream lsu baseball games with beau's website, but even then, I couldn't make the video full screen with the browser on Nvidia. I could only use the TV's built-in browser (LG). Is there a better browser I'm missing?

Chrome works for me, but you probably have to sideload now.

I just sideloaded it, but it was a blank space where the embedded video was supposed to be

I don't play a ton of videos via Chrome, but my small sample size - I've not had problems playing embedded videos.

I use Puffin TV browser any time I need to use a proper web browser on my Shield. I haven't used it much to play embedded videos, as I mostly just use dedicated apps or Kodi, but I just tried playing a few vids with Puffin on a few different sites and it seemed to work fine.

I'll try that. I'm trying to be able to watch SECN+ on sports24 without pulling out the laptop to cast

Is puffin pay to play now?

Yeah, I looked up some of the recent reviews for Puffin and it looks like they may try to get you to pay after an hour or so of daily usage. I don't use it enough to ever notice this, but it's something to consider if you end up streaming a lot of video from inside a browser.
To OP, I've tried TV Bro as alternative and it seems to work OK for streaming video as well and doesn't seem to have any pay to play restrictions.

I gave up trying to use a browser on the Shield. I've currently got a Shield and a Chromebox connected to my main TV.
