I am getting limited service in my home on my new iPhone Max Pro when my phone is showing 5G not 5Ge

I can force it to work on 4G LTE.

Speeds are terrible on both, but that could still be Ida related. Since where I live in Cut Off, home internet and cable is still a work in progress. I just got power on the 27th.

Been having problems like that lately. People I work with also as we move to alot of places for work. We will have full service and the internet is shite. Started a couple of weeks ago from what I can remember.

You can turn 5g off.

ATT 5g sucks here, Tmobile coverage is pretty good most of greater BR and I even will pick up 5G in the marsh and the gulf.

Well Verizon wasn’t much better at my house. At times, I had to tether my work phone just to get it to work after the storm. I am also not a big fan of Verizon’s new 5G network being so high up the frequency dial. Engineers there must be smoking something thinking that the millimeter wavelengths will work well for them. Someone must have missed a day in engineering school when they talked about attenuation and how higher frequencies do not penetrate buildings. Or they were looking at the fact that they would need thousands if not millions of micro cell sites to pull it off. Meaning more work for them. Of course Ma’bell is also invested in those frequencies too.

I thought about TMobile but I would had to wait for my phone longer and AT&T had a better trade in offer.

I did turn off 5G and it is working better.

Your Covid vaccination is interfering with the 5G signal. You’ll have to stick with 4G for now until the tracker has used up its energy and becomes dormant.
