Network Channels on Directv Not in HD

So I recently got Directv and all of the channels look great except for all the local broadcast channels like NBC, ABC, CBS etc. Does anybody know why this is or how I can fix it?

Does your guide show two channels for the same channel?

Not that I can tell, its just channel 33 for NBC and theres no alternate like 733 or 1033. The channel list I have says local channels from 1-100

Mine shows 2 channels for each local in Lafayette (so two 3s, two 10s, two 15s and so on) one is HD, one is not. is 33 is a BR channel? could there have been damage due to flooding that is only allowing for a non HD satellite feed?

Go into your guide settings and make sure it says Hide SD Duplicates. Then unplug it and reboot.
