Need Recommendations on a couple of OTA DVR’s

I’m looking to purchase either the Fire TV Recast (the 500 gig one) or the HDHomerun (Scribe Duo). The scribe duo is 1 Tig but the 500 gig one would be plenty enough storage for what I want to record. Also I know that in order for the Fire TV Recast to work you also have to have another firestick or a cube. I already have this covered. Does anyone have an opinion or experience using one of these. They look like they both would do what I want them to do. TIA

I have a Tablo. Commercial skip DVR is where it is at. I highly recommend.

Thanks for the advice. I just did some research on the tablo and I have to agree with you. That is what I will be purchasing. Thanks again for the advice
