Need help with OTA antenna for VHF-Hi

I am currently using a DIY gray-hoverman with a folded dipole antenna in my attic for OTA reception. I am unable to get WBRZ to tune in reliably. I am located in Denham Springs. I am able to get several other channels on the UHF band without difficulty. I have attempted to research and from what I found the length of my dipole should be 26in to tune in this channel. With a signal amplifier, I am able to get spotty reception, but not good enough to watch for any length of time. Would increasing/decreasing the length of the dipole help. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to stay DIY if possible.
