The last time Directv came out a few months ago to install a new dish, the guy said they offer a new replacement plan for like an extra $15 or so a month. Essentially if lighting hits your electronics, you send them the non-working piece and they'll offer a replacement at value

Finally got around to taking the TV to the shop. They said it needs a new Control Board. $148+ tax. Going to go ahead and fix it since it's not that much.

Probably buy a new one too.
