Need 2nd Monitor Recommendation

I have an Asus VG248QE 24" 144mhz primary monitor for gaming and stuff, but I need a good 2nd monitor to use for work-related stuff (reading docs, writing, etc.) and could use some advice.
I'd like it to be 27" to help with working on the multiple PDFs & Docs I've always got running. I'd also like it to be no more than $200, preferably under that. I'm considering getting a VESA stand to mount dual monitors, it's not exactly a necessity, but having a VESA mount, or available adapter, would be a bonus.
Any advice?
