MNF directv now

Im in chicago and trying to watch game on directv now and its telling me it is blacked out. WTH?

I only had that issue when it was the Saints and I had to watch it on a local channel. Is maybe your billing address in a Dallas or Arizona local market?
ETA: It was still dumb.
ETA2: If you were on a mobile device, it is because Verizon has exclusive "mobile streaming rights" or some bullshite.
The NFL has really made a giant mess of their TV rights.
Yahoo has some games, Amazon has some games, ESPN has some games except on mobile where Verizon has the rights, twitter had some games last year and I have no clue if they do this year. And then there is NBC,CBS,Fox.
Their model hasn't evolved with technology or the overall consumption landscape imo.

nfl blacking out mnf seems a tad bit out of date. jmo.
