Meta AI eyeglasses

I was reading a tech article about the latest version of Meta's AI glasses, and the discussion of facial recognition didn't share much, just that that's an area of concern.
I was thinking, since I experienced my dad having Alzheimer's disease, and not even knowing who we were for much of the last year of his life, if these actually have some type of limited facial recognition available and the glasses include an augmented reality screen in the wearer's vision, then the glasses visually and audibly could tell the wearer who the person is. In my limited view, this would be a really useful tool to purchase for someone in the early stages and I certainly hope the technology is applied towards developing AI glasses specifically for this type of limited purpose.
Has anyone used Meta glasses with the augmented reality display?

No, but you're right. This could be an amazing tool for someone in mental decline. Even if it's just loved ones providing permission for the glasses to identify them for the person needing help. I know people who write daily messages and have a journal to help the impaired get their bearings each day (or several times during the day). I'm sure it's a YMMV depending on the situation, but I'd like to see this pursued.
