Hello,
I`m sorry if it's off-topic. As you probably know, 'machine learning' and 'artificial intelligence' are huge buzz words right now. But they do allow for some interesting things nonetheless when they are used correctly.
So I simply wanted to ask if you had any examples of projects/applications like LINK / that used GIS and machine learning / artificial intelligence?
Thanks in Advance.

Pretty broad question and the answer is definitely “yes”, the GIS community is using AI/ML to do various things.
A lot of GIS is image recognition type problems and these are ubiquitous throughout AI/ML.
Pattern recognition is another application of AI/ML.
It would probably help if you identified more specific problems of interest in the GIS world and then see if AI/ML fits that paradigm.

It's used in defense as part of detector systems for threat assessment and situational awareness.
