I don't disagree. Was simply trying to parse out what you had originally meant by "gaming RAM", which was a term I had never heard before, outside of jokes about RGB. But now that we've talked it out, I agree that confirming that a kit has a JEDEC profile that suits one's needs is important if it's going to be paired with an extremely basic motherboard
