The new pencil has no lightening male. I’m guessing it wirelessly charges via the iPad? What about the keyboard? Are both of these accessories powered by the iPad’s battery? What’s the drain like on the iPad’s battery using these?

I’m trying to convert from ink and colored pencils to digital in Adobe illustrator for my artwork to speed production (and save my aging fingers). My work software is now available via cloud/web browser (included with desktop subscription), so I used it as an excuse to make the move and purchase through the company.

TIA

It’s sits on top of the iPad and charges.

With the magic keyboard, the iPad can't be fully folded and laid flat on the table or work area. You have to take it off the keyboard. That was a deal breaker for me and the reason why I chose to just go with the smart folio keyboard and not the magic keyboard.

I got the magic keyboard and honestly I love it. I’d say too expensive but it’s great. So many times I forgot the iPad a touch screen. Trackpad works great. I’m not artistic at all. Mine is mostly a sit next to me while I work to search stuff online watch YouTube/Netflix browse TD type device.
