Issue of laptop running slower after sleep mode

I have had the issue for over 3 months. The IT Dept has replaced drivers and card. I’m at a lost. Works one day then shuts down or won’t load. Then I will get a command error message on an Excel file

I would start with the App and Sys logs around the time the device went to sleep and woke back up.
Could be some overblown temp file or something needing trashed or a service not coming back up/ hung.
