My MIL is giving our little one her (several years old) iPad. Plan is to strap it to the headrest of the car so he can watch things on it during road trips.
Is there a away to remote in to the iPad so if we want to change from Disney+ to YouTube, it cab be done with having to physically touch the iPad itself?

You can also Airplay from your phone to the iPad, assuming you have an iPhone.

Yeah, no iPhone here. Wife and I are both Android/Pixel.
Dumb Siri question. Does it work inside an app? Say I have it open Disney+, can I then tell it "Hey Siri, play Bluey season 1"?

Airplay would work and make sense assuming the iPad is not cellular and there is no wifi hotspot in the car.
Keep in mind that you would then be burning through data on your phone if you don’t pre download shows before your road-trip. Most streaming apps allow temporary downloads. It worked great for me on a plane flight.
There also may be a third party app in the Apple App Store which would allow android devices to connect directly.

You may be able to create custom automations to do this. name it bluey season 1 and then automate the steps.
