Is it worth buying an Ipod anymore?

If it is worth getting an ipod, which one should I get? I usually listen to music on my phone, but it drains a lot of my battery when I listen to music (do anything) on my phone. That's why I considered possibly getting an Ipod again. Which ones do you suggest?

If you're wanting to buy new from Apple they currently only offer the iPod Touch which is essentially an iPhone without the phone. LINK

Yes. I use my touch all the time. I love it. Never used the nano.

I use mine to plug either leave plugged into my car full time or when I fly. Saves my phone battery.

They just discontinued all of them except for the iPod Touch. The ?Watch is the new iPod.
