iphone issue - Photo suggestion window keeps popping up

When I’m texting someone a picture, this thing keeps popping up. Anyone know how to get it to go away?

Yes. That’s the icon to select the pictures I want to send. Normally when I click that, my recent photos will pop up and I can select one. But lately, when I press that button, the picture in the original post shows up instead.
