Ok, I used fototime for years, and posting photos was dead easy. On imgur when I copy a link and paste it into a box from the img button under Markup, it does nothing in the post - just shows up blank. Any ideas what I'm doing incorrectly?

Example - this is a link to a random photo I chose on my imgur. When I use "img" and it gets the img tags on either side, I get a great big nothing. I'm sure, I'm missing something simple. Thanks for any advice and you are free to make fun of me.

imgur gives several different kinds of links. The one you are using is a link to a page with the image on it. That's not going to work here, you need a direct link to the image itself. These links will end with .jpg or .png or similar, and the domain name will be i.imgur.com instead of just imgur.com.

If you are using imgur on a computer, the easiest way to get the correct link is to view the image and copy their BBCode link. That gives you the code that TD needs to just paste it in. Alternatively, you can copy the direct link from imgur and then use TD's img markup button, which will add the img tags for you.

If you are using the imgur app on your phone, you will need to tap the image, then tap it again on the next page. Then press the share button and you should be able to copy the direct link that you need.
