Hulu live compatible devices

I'm in the process of cutting the cord and currently in the free trial period for Hulu live. We chose Hulu over the other options because of the unlimited screens option.
My problem is selecting the right streaming device compatible with Hulu live. It works fine on of my smart TVs but not the others. I also have 2 Nvidia shields, with a Hulu app, that are not compatible.
Any suggestions? TIA

I use fire stick and am very satisfied. I have all the locals stations, and this past football season used the espn on hulu as well as the espn app with no problems.
I imagine a lot depends on your internet service.
I guess this is a "mileage may vary" statement.

I have a two Amazon Firesticks and two Apple TVs
They both work fine. I have a new Sony smart TV and Hulu Live will not work with it unless there is another Hulu app that I didn't see.

I use the firestick works good I think apple tv has best guide for hulu it shows more upcoming shows
