I’ve heard different things from different security peers on Huawei hardware but man the price on these little badass ultralights is too hard to pass up. Before I buy I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on Huawei hardware. Should I be concerned about the embargo on their equipment?

Huawei or Xiaomi are literal espionage branches of the Chinese government. Are they fine for personal use? Sure. Should they ever be allowed on a secure network? Nope.

Everything manufactured in China is a security concern. And everything is manufactured in China. So what are you gonna do?
