How to copy and paste gifs on iPhone 6

Hey all I used to have an iPhone 5 and when I wanted to send a gif via text I would just find it and double click and copy and the paste and send it. Whenever I would save it and send it, it wouldn't work. Well now on my iPhone 6 when I double click on it, it just zooms in. And when I try and save and send the gif doesn't work. Any help would be cool. Thanks

It should be the same as saving a pic. Hold it and save it to your camera roll then text it. Also you can search for it with Google's keyboard gboard and just touch it then paste it in a text.

press and hold on image, copy then paste in text message.

What are you copying and pasting from? Google?
Because it you are you can't hotlink from there anymore. You have to click on the gif then click it again until you have black bars on the top and bottom. Then you can copy.

Once it zooms, flick your thumb up and you'll get a save or copy option at the bottom of the screen.
