Looking for advice for speaker setup in a TV room. I'm currently just using the TV speakers, so anything is better than that. The room is 20 ft x 28 ft.
1. Klipsch Refernce R-625FA setup from ADORAM - $1040 without receiver. LINK
2. SVS Prime bookshelf Surround system - $1250 without receiver LINK
3. JAMO 809 CINEMA - $700 + a sub, maybe an SVS 1000 sub - $600. no receiver. LINK
4. Am I better off with a higher end sound bar? I noticed there are a few around that price.
I know nothing about this stuff. Any advice? or other options that put total cost around 1,500 range

A soundbar cannot begin to touch a proper surround sound setup.

Dolby atmos is the hotness. Thry will give you diagrams on how to best set up your room

I have the Klipsch 7.2system in my entertainment room and it rocks. I have sound bars on my other tv’s and they do well enough. Depends on your budget.

I think that's the key. For $1500 you're basically looking at either a budget 5.1 system setup or a soundbar that can provide a decent 5.1.4 experience. If you don't care about Dolby Atmos or you can get a good deal on a receiver that will allow you to upgrade in the future, you're probably better off with a traditional setup.
Samsung has a nice system in that price range. It does depend on your ceiling height though.
