I am I need of a high end gaming PC. It won’t actually be for gaming but I would like a computer very fast and with a good video card. Bout to start delving deep into 3D scanning/printing and other forms of digital shattt.
I’m thinking an i7 11 or 12 gen with like a 3070+ graphics card. I’m no computer wiz and don’t know all the lingo but anyways..
Any ideas on some good pre made gaming PCs? Alienware? MSI? Etcc
Would ideally like to keep it below 3k

Has Intel caught up to the AMD threadripper CPUs? Last I knew those were the best workhorse CPUs out there for home use.

Depends on what software you'll be using. And $3k won't get high-end anything. Here is a good site to read performance reviews depending on your application:

Also check out CG Director. They spec out rigs for various purposes and give nice writeups about what components affect the performance for what you are doing. They also have a pc builder to give recs on components based on your budget. Though they don’t really have any pre-built options you might use them to find out what components you should look for in one.

If you want to do pro-3d, then you need a pro-3d workstation with a pro graphics card.
Sounds like you don't have a clue what you need. You can 3d print stuff with a raspberry pi, i would probably get my feet a little bit wet before buying random stuff you'll never use.

3k ain't touching a high-end production setup.
It's a solid mid tier start.
