Weknow.AC is Browser HiJacker kinda of spyware. I have been trying to remove and reading everything on the internet about it. Well there's hundreds of how to's but few if any might work. I have tried several times to eliminate the weknow.ac....But no luck. Has anyone ever had any experience???? I have a MacBook pro running newest operating system and downloaded the malware program...But it claims I have no issues but still cannot remove.

if you are using a macbook, just load a time machine backup from before you were infected.

I don’t know about Mac, but I had a very similar experience one of my PC about two years ago - almost nothing “noticed” it as bad, and any program that did just couldn’t fully eradicate it.
I ended up being directed to a Wordpress from some rando who claimed to have an answer ... I crossed my fingers and followed his recommendations. I ended up having to go into the registry, and also had to notebook edit several hidden program files. Every step was a dozen warnings from my OS to STOP because I could make it unusable.
But it worked. IIRC I found the link when I went to Reddit and searched the name of the malicious file.
ETA- Found this Step by step guide on macreports.com. Most of the comments claim it works. Hope that helps.
