Hi, we're trying to fix an issue that's happening with my son's laptop, an MSI Leopard GP 63. It has the Intel onboard graphics, and also an Nvidia 1060 (desktop, not laptop) graphics card. *I make a point of clarifying the GPU, because it's specified as a desktop card instead of a laptop card in the marketing.

This suddenly is loading at extremely dim settings, to the point where you basically can not see anything. We've tried pushing the buttons on the keyboard, that goes from ultra-faint to black now, instead of the usual bright to dark.
It does light up a bit more when plugged into the charger, so you can sorta see with that.

Did some research on this, it seems to be a software setting. In going in and disabling the intel driver, the screen returns to normal. It does seem to be temporarily correctable even with the intel board, I updated the intel driver and it worked briefly, then reverted again.

I've seen online that it's related to W10 power saver settings, apparently somewhere in the system it's getting told to dim (and apparently multiple times, so it multiplies that effect to basically render the screen useless).

Problem is, it's hard to see to correct, and I'm not sure where all I need to go in and "disable" the power-saving mode that dims the screen.

Anyone else have to deal with this? Do you have a walk-through that's been effective? Thanks.
