HD antenna for long-range?

My parents are looking to get an HD antenna so that they can have both the BR and NO locals to go with their satellite. Problem is they live about 60 miles from each. What's the best long-range multidirectional antenna and would it even work well at those distances?
Thanks in advance.

Antenna amplifiers
I'd mount it as high as possible
Use a compass to direct it toward exactly where the towers are
Use an amplifier like the link above to strengthen reception
Mount antenna and have grounders
Go to YouTube and watch how to videos

I have little experience with omni-directional TV antennas but I will weigh in anyhow since you may find something benficial. "Long range" and "multidirectional" are mutually exclusive. Because between NOLA and BR there are low-VHF, high-VHF, and UHF channels, this may be a difficult task for one antenna. While you may strike gold with a single omni, you would need some luck that all other factors are perfect (like low interference and being able to mount the antenna high off of the ground). My recommendation would be to try two directional antennas, one pointed at each city, and use a combiner, if not included. The more "directional" the antenna, the better. Even then, you may run into overlapping channels but it's worth a try. Check out this antenna. It will give you the best shot. I hope this helps.
