Google Nest doorbell problem

I installed after Christmas. Worked great. Had internet problem. Wow rebooted.

Nest no longer enables playing the video history. None of it. Nest notifies motion, sound, people when it happens, but won’t let you replay the 15 seconds or so activity was detected.

iPhones and iPads can’t do it anymore.

Removed app from devices, reinstalled like on day 1, no luck.

Has anyone lost video history? How did you fix it?

Make sure Video recording is turned on in the Nest app.

I spent some frustrating time messing with transformer, wiring, etc; before I realized that the nest app has a toggle for things like doorbell chime.

Take a few minutes and look through all of the toggles. Something might have accidentally been switched off.

You normally get 30 days or 60 days free. However, then you must purchase "Nest Aware" (I believe it's called).

This is probably the issue, you have to pay for the plan that lets you view history after the free trial.
